Outspoken NPP member and MP, Kennedy Agyapong is the latest ‘big man’ in Ghana whose name is allegedly contained in the yet-to-be-released uncover video by Anas Aremeyaw.
Yesterday, May 22, 2018, President Akufo-Addo ordered the arrest of the President of Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The order came after the President watched the investigative video by Anas Aremeyaw Anas to uncover rot in the GFA.
In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Adom FM, Kwesi Nyantakyi has mentioned the name of leading NPP member and MP, Kennedy Agyapong, as one of his links in government.
Nyantakyi had claimed that Ken was at the Roads Ministry and assured him of his help to get him (Nyantakyi) and his investors get contracts.
But speaking on Oman FM’s Boiling Point on Tuesday, May 22, after the order to arrest Nyantakyi had been made, Ken said Kwesi Nyantakyi claimed that he Ken was one of his small boys in the ruling party.
“But this was just bragging and empty talk which made no sense…how can I, Kennedy Agyapong, be his small boy…,” The Assin Central MP queried.
Meanwhile, Kwesi Nyantakyi has reportedly turned himself into the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for investigations.
He has been accused of defrauding under false pretense among other offenses.
