Video: Shatta Wale Fears to Reply Sarkodie Because He’s Lyrically Weak – Lecturer
Before the launch of Shatta Wale’s Reign Album, Sarkodie released a freestyle video he called “My Advice“. In this piece Sarkodie used his creativity to advise “whom it may concern” but it was clear within the lyrics he was referring to Shatta Wale.
This came after Shatta Wale made mention of some top artiste in Ghana including Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, claiming they are poor folks who have no or little achievement to their names as compared to himself.
Sarkodie’s “My Advice” freestyle video went viral within few minutes of its release. This made Shatta Wale furious especially the part he said “your whole bank account cannot even buy you one tear rubber vogue but you’re claiming supremacy”.
As usual, many Shatta Wale fans and music lovers were looking forward to hearing a reply from the CEO of Shatta Movement to Obidiponbidi. However to their utmost surprise, it never came.
It’s exactly one month today, Shatta Wale, in an interview after the launch of his most anticipated album, “Reign”, said Sarkodie doesnt know whom he was messing with and that he was going to end his [*Sarkodie’s] career. Yet we haven’t heard any song released in reply to *Sarkodie.
This however made the Director of Creative Arts Department African University College of Communications (AUCC) Dr. Kwesi Owusu to reveal what he thinks is the real reason that prevented Shatta Wale from replying Sarkodie. He says Shatta Wale’s excuse for not replying Sarkodie is dumb and not logic.
