Information reaching us indicates that popular Nigerian Afropop star, Runtown, has been banned from entering the United States of America. He is known in real life as Douglas Jack Agu. | How Runtown Got Banned From Traveling to United States
According to Johnson Adumike, the General Manager of Eric Many Entertainment, Runtown and his brother got the United States visa via the label.
According to SeekHype.Com, Johnson made mention of the fact that it was the CEO of their label, Eric Many, that reported the case to the US immigration services and followed it up so that
“The way Runtown got to know he was banned from entering the United States of America was when he and his mother went to the US embassy to renew their visas. They were told by the consular officer that they fear if they were given the visa, they might decide not to return”, He added
Mr Johnson, however, used the opportunity to also reveal that Runtown owes the record label a whopping amount of Eight Thousand Dollars ($800.000).
According to him, the owner of the label Eric Many has told him to forget about the money but he will make sure he used whatever way legally possible to make sure Runtown pays the said amount.
Can we really trust the words of Johnson Adumike without giving RUntown a fair hearing of his side of the storying and the chance to defend all allegations levelled against him? We wouldn’t be fair I guess!
